1. Acceptance
By using Factsheet Six, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. Factsheet Six is operated by Ozonagram Ltd, a company incorporated in Canada.
2. What Factsheet Six is
Factsheet Six is a newsletter publishing platform that allows writers to publish content and readers to subscribe. The platform supports both free and paid subscriptions. We act as a technical intermediary — content is owned by the writers who create it.
3. Accounts
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. Report any unauthorised access immediately to [email protected].
4. Writer rules
By publishing on Factsheet Six, you agree not to publish content that:
- Is illegal, defamatory, harassing, or threatening
- Infringes third-party intellectual property rights
- Contains malware or is intentionally deceptive
- Constitutes spam or unsolicited commercial communication
- Is sexually explicit and involves minors
- Incites hatred or discrimination
You retain ownership of all content you publish. By publishing on Factsheet Six, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, transmit, and display it as part of the service.
5. Subscriber lists
Your subscribers belong to you. You may export your subscriber list at any time from your dashboard. If you close your account, you may take your list with you. You are responsible for obtaining appropriate consent from your subscribers in accordance with applicable law.
6. Paid subscriptions and revenue
Paid subscriptions are processed by Paddle, acting as Merchant of Record. Paddle is responsible for VAT, refunds, and payment disputes. Factsheet Six retains a 5% platform commission on paid subscription revenue. Payouts follow Paddle's payment schedule.
7. Reader rules
By subscribing to a newsletter, you consent to receive emails from that writer. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. We are not responsible for the content published by individual writers.
8. Service availability
We aim to keep Factsheet Six available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Scheduled maintenance will be announced where possible. We are not liable for data loss or access disruption resulting from service outages.
9. Termination
You may close your account at any time from your account settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice. In cases of termination for violation, unpaid revenue may be withheld.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by Canadian law, Ozonagram Ltd will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Factsheet Six. Our total liability to you will not exceed the amount you have paid us in the preceding 12 months.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ottawa, Ontario.
12. Changes
We may modify these terms. Significant changes will be notified by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after that period constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
